Fire Rated Glass in Unique Applications

Fire rated glass has come a long way since wired glass and ceramics used in small door lites and openings. Today, fire rated glazing that meets ASTM E-119/UL 263/UL CAN-S101 up to 2 hours are being used to provide vision and transparency in fire rated storefronts, atriums, curtain walls, temperature rise doors and even floors. It can be further customized to protect against bullets, blast, hurricane, forced entry, UV, sound and more. Decorative and privacy make-ups are also possible.
