SAFTI FIRST, leading USA-manufacturer of advanced fire rated glass and framing systems, is pleased to announce that it’s revolutionary, patent-pending, 45 minute fire protective products SuperClear 45-HS-LI and SuperClear 45-HS are now approved glazing components in the National Fenestration Rating Council’s (NFRC) Component Modeling Approach Software Tool (CMAST) database. Architects, consultants, builders and other NFRC CMAST users can now simulate the U-factor, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) and Visual Light Transmission (VLT) of 45 minute exterior window assemblies that incorporate SuperClear 45-HS-LI and SuperClear 45-HS, GPX Framing and any other glazing or spacer component available in the CMAST database. This is in addition to SAFTI FIRST’s SuperLite II-XL fire resistive glazing and fire resistive GPX Framing products that are already in the CMAST database since 2017.
